Das Maschinchen wäre doch selbst mit einem defekten Sägeaggregat kein Fall für die Presse  nein-nein-nein.
Bei den heutigen Plastikbombern bis in den gehobenen 3-stelligen Bereich rein lohnt sich der Maschinen-Selbstbau mittlerweile richtiggehend wieder 
Auf den Tisch einen schönen stabilen alten Bohrständer geschraubt, ergäbe eine richtig geile Bohrstation für den Holzbereich. Und mit einem 22'000Upm - Geradschleifer im Bohrständer, hat/hätte man eine richtig schöne Vertikal- bzw. "Desktop"-Fräse. Der Tisch mit der großen Triton OF Unterflur wäre daneben auch mal besser wie 3/4tel der sonstigen selbstgebauten Tischfräsen. Tischnuten bereits vorhanden, Längsanschlag, ein nicht bei jedem Lufthauch nachgebender ebener Tisch, und ein bissl Gewicht, wäre alles schon vorhanden. ... Daneben scheint die PK 200 die kleine Schwester der EB PK 250 zu sein. Und zur PK 250 hat sich in den letzten Jahren eine richtige Fan-Gemeinde gebildet. Für letztere werden regelmäßig Mondpreise aufgerufen, und wohl auch immer wieder mal bezahlt (so in der Größenordnung 600-1000€) (ist EB aber schon vor laaanger Zeit von Metabo übernommen worden). | |||

The machine would still "work", but a kind of diagonal, multicoloured moving stripes would superimpose over the screen. It never got serviced and was replaced by a VHS (the format war had already come to an end) and it was stored for some time until, about 15 years ago, when eBay was starting, I managed to buy a couple of videoheads. Without any further knowledge and without proper tools neither any service manuals, and of course without knowing about this forum, I dissassembled it and not only caused even more damage to the machine but I wasn't able to reassemble it again. Es handelt sich um ein solches Gerät. Die beiden Reifen werden mit durch einen einzel in der Drehzahl steuerbaren Motor angetrieben. Diese Motoren werden durch eine gesteuerte Einweggleichrichtung direkt vom Netz versorgt. Die Steuerung beider Motoren erfolgt durch folgende Platine. Ich habe mal den Schaltplan herauszeichnet. Allerdings nur eine Hälfte da beide Seiten gleich sind, aber unterschiedliche defekte aufweisen. Bei der linke Seite auf die ich mich zunächst beziehe habe ich keine Ahnung, da der 723 eine gewisse Änderung zeigt. Rechts scheint der 723 auch tot zu sein. Auch habe ich schon ein wenig gemessen. Thanks for your reply. The laufband is currently out of the Guarantee period. The hersteller told me that maybe the Kontroller is defective but they need to check it. He told me that it takes 160 euros to drive here to Ulm and 100 Euros Kontroller costs, which in total is more than 250 euros. I find it a bit strange to pay so much. I have zero experience on electrical machines and have never opened a machine myself. Maybe i sound too stupid. But it seems the burning smell was coming from the Kontroller. So i need help if someone who has some experience in Laufband can check it for me. My idea was if i get this checked within Ulm itself then it would be cheaper. Best Regards, Ankur ... | |||

| Als erstes sorry tiuris habe deinen Namen Falsch geschrieben.
Also habe heute das 40 Grad Programm ausprobiert da kommt es auch. Habe dan auf Spüllen umgestellt und wollte weiter machen da kamm der Fehler wieder und ich konnte genau sehen was passiert. Wenn der Fehler kommt dann Eiert (Läuft nicht Rund) die Trommel richtig stark. Ich wollte es auf Video aufnehmen und probierte es 10 Minuten später und der Fehler war weg. Also ist vielleicht doch was eingeklemmt, oder Klemmt sich immer wieder beim Waschen ein. Also on V-2000 machines, the abrasive wear of all components makes no stop on a lot of years! This machine is at least 27 years old, and there may be a worn head drum as well as dry capacitors in any modules. And not to forget: The "newest" Video-2000 tapes were produced about 1991/92 - and so they are at least 20 years old. And VHS tapes were still developed on after this time. So, if you want to compare both systems, you have to take a VHS-tape of the same generation (80´s or early 90´s decade of the last century) and also a VCR of the same generation. And then, I guess, the picture quality would be almost the same on both machines... 
The "Philips Quality Grade" (i guess: a black-orange package???) are AWFUL quality!!! The Sony: i didn´t have any of these for testing. The best V-2000 tapes today are: BASF Chrome extra quality, from the last production in the early 90´s (silver-grey package). Also AGFA tapes are terrible! Some PHILIPS are not that bad, but depending on, what type of tape! Are the tapes still unused? And, the system itself make... | |||

I guess, some electrolyt capacitors in the power supply are dry (or even dead), and so the 5 volts are too low. First of all, I would change ALL capacitors in the power supply. This is a common fault in all Grundig V-2000 power supplies (machines of the 3rd generation, No. 2000/2000a/2200/2080/2280/2280a). The 33 Volts are -as I remember- for the tuner, not for the display. And, the 5 Volts must be present correctly for the display to work well. Perhaps, after changing the old caps, the voltages are present correct then. Best regards, stego

I have two non-working Grundig 2x4 "Best Nr. 2000". One is grey/silver, lacks the closing door for the little buttons zone below the display and seems a bit old. The other one is black, shiny, in almost perfect looking condition, and seems newer. I have yet to take a look at the specific part of the service manual, but I'm just curious to know if anyone has already tried or at least has thought of this. Also any of the more experienced users could tell if it is viable or if it is impossible

leider sind meine Kenntnisse in der Elektrotechnik nicht ausreichend um mein Problem zu lösen. Ich würde mir gerne eine Infrarot Heißwachs-Maschine für Alpin-Ski bauen. Ich habe eine solche Maschine mal auf einer Fachmesse gesehen. Hier der Link zu meinem Vorbild: Heißwachsautomat Die Schiene für die Wandmontage, die Heizung (Infrarot Heizstab) habe ich bereits. Nun brauche ich aber eure Hilfe: Damit sich der Steuerungskasten, auf welchem der Heizstab direkt montiert ist über die Ski bewegt, braucht es einen Antrieb. Dieser erfolgt durch einen Motor welcher ein Laufrad mit Gummi O-Ring antreibt. Dieses Rad befindet sich auf der Unterseite des Steuerungskastens. Es stützt den Kasten gegen die Wandschiene ab und bewegt diesen gleichzeitig mit einer frei wählbaren Geschwindigkeit nach vor. Soweit ich bisher in Erfahrung bringen konnte, würde mir vermutlich ein DC Motor helfen. Im Conrad Shop gibt es jedoch hunderte solcher Motoren. | Ach je, das ist wohl schon gut 25 Jahre her.
Ein paar Seiten werden es schon gewesen sein, aber praktisch nur Macros. Ich hab das damals zuerst nur als Fingerübung für den SC/MP gemacht und kurz darauf produktionsmäßig für 8748 &Co. Einen einfachen Assembler zu schreiben ist nicht schwer. Ein Kollege hat das damals sogar rein mit einer Macrofähigen Textverarbeitung (BG wusste da noch garnicht was das ist), für den 8085 gemacht. Das waren sehr fortschrittliche Systeme, die wir damals den Schreibbüros der Behörden hier verkauft haben. Ausser WYSIWIG konnten die 1980 praktisch schon alles was MS-Word erst mehr als 10 Jahre später annähernd schaffte. Ursprünglich stand Burroughs auf den Rechnern und IBM wurde mit "Imitated Burroughs Machines" übersetzt.

CBM = Commodore Büromaschinen bzw. Commodore Business Machines. Das war ein ehemals sehr erolgreicher Computerhersteller der u.a. den C64 und den Amiga hervorgebracht hat. Die Produktion der dazugehörigen Spezial-ICs, die in einem eigenen Werk gefertigt wurden, wurde eingestellt als du noch in die Windeln gesch... hast und sind daher teilweise sehr gesucht und teuer. Was den Kauf angeht, es kommt darauf an ob du die benötigst oder nicht und was wirklich dabei ist. Wenn VICs oder SIDs dabei sind ist der Preis OK. ... | |||

it seems a bit strange to me, that ALL four machines show the same symptomes: No loading of the cassette. You can check the following: 1. The Cassette Sensor (or loading switch) behind the front "lip" of the cassette holder. 2. Open the machines and search for broken plugs (red, black and so on), because at the age of 25 years they often break and cause loose contact on the printed circuit boards. You can repair these plugs by strong winding some adhesive tape around them. It is also possible, that somewhere in the loading mechanism is a blockage. But that is something that only you can look for, because the machines are not avilable for me to look inside
PLEASE: unplug the AC-Connector before you open the Recorders! High voltages inside (V-2000 operates with up to 150 Volts for the "Dynamic Track Following" System!). So, be careful!

wonderful, those double-masters presumably synchronized by som time signal are the highest art of "time production" for collectors like me! I have seen pictures from such a clock system which was used to display the last minute before 20:00 Tagesschau (news first programme TV)from the 50ties to the late 70ties (?) That system was synchronized by a signal from Seesternwarte Hamburg. I guess something similar was done at Düsseldorf Airport. Do You remember the maker of that clock? I wauld guess either Siemens or CTW (Carl Th. Wagner). The core at the upper end of the pendulum which runs into a coil reminds me of the CTW system which was in use at the Bundesbahn (Federal Rail).
