The laufband is currently out of the Guarantee period.
The hersteller told me that maybe the Kontroller is defective but they need to check it.
He told me that it takes 160 euros to drive here to Ulm and 100 Euros Kontroller costs, which in total is more than 250 euros.
I find it a bit strange to pay so much.

I have zero experience on electrical machines and have never opened a machine myself. Maybe i sound too stupid.

But it seems the burning smell was coming from the Kontroller.
So i need help if someone who has some experience in Laufband can check it for me.
My idea was if i get this checked within Ulm itself then it would be cheaper.

Hi,
the problem here is: no one here can do a remote dignosis (that would be like fortune telling). So either you pay service fee, or you find someone willing to look at this "Controller" and hope it's somehow repeirable (which, by the way, could also be expensive) ... or you have a friend which is into electronics.

If you make pictures of the "Controller" board we might be able to guess the error for some (few) types of problems, but with no knowledge on your side it's much like
