There are no markings anymore on the componenents...
And the picture above does not include the same part of the board. Perhaps someone that has a mc-15 can take a look and give me the markings? Or a schematics...
Many thanks,
Olivier |

hey olilam,
you could contact the poster of the original picture via PM to get more photos.
Also check the diode left above the burnt 3-leg part. It's 2-tone colouring looks suspicious to me.

OK, it's done. I would like to check that component too but I need a reference for the comparison...
Thanks anyway,
Olivier

According to a guy who owns a working mc15, the component on the bottom part of the photo is a diode with C1 marking (with white dash corrseponding to the cahtod on the bottom)while the one on the top is a transistor with EY marking. Any idea of which classical component I can use to replace them ?
Thanks.

EY seems to be:
BCW65HR by siemens
with the following characteristics
npn 45V 800mA hfe 240 min
Any well known transistor matching that?
Could not find C1 as a diode but found an article on this forum https://forum.electronicwerkstatt.d.....fsSMD that seems to be related to my problem. There they are talking about 1N4148: is that a correct replacement for C1?
Thanks

When comparing device codes you must always also carefully check the package.
If your C1-"Diode" comes in the SOT-23 Package, then in real life it ist propably a BCW29LT1 npn-Transistorfrom Motorola.
Can you read the Marking on the bigger device near to it, so we might guess what the purpose of the C1 thing was ?

I will check the markings of other components this evening (when I am at home) but the component with C1 marking seems to be a two pins component, so probably not a transistor.
Thanks

OK... I removed the burnt components and tried to take a picture with more details. I have also removed the varnish on smd to be able to see the markings.
The component near the 2-pins burnt component is marked 406. The one at its left is marked D0KW.
I searched a lot on internet for SMD with codes C1 and EY... C1 never leads me to something acceptable (2 pins). I cannot find something able to replace the EY.
Here is the new pic http://users.skynet.be/bk267032/repair.JPG
Thanks
