Trying to remove the front panel in order to access 4 differents pots in deep need of a clean, as the scratch too much when actioned, I had to face the problem of not understanding how to deal with a row of 8 mechanical buttons, whose function is to switch between stereo/mono, select radio band, mute, and so on. In the picture below you can see that there is an "arm" that connects the external physical button to a "boxed" end that makes the contact with the proper combination of "pins" for each arm. For whatever reason I came to the conclussion that the inly way to remove the buttons from the front panel, which was the cause that prevented me to detach it, would be to remove that plastic encasing of the top end of each "arm", which was preventing me | |||

| Actually the drum in my VR2023 looks quite a bit worse than that! It has white spots all over and feels fairly rough but I'm certain someone here told me not to worry about that. The machine is playing fine but I'm still a bit worried about damaging tapes. Probably it also needs a new pinch roller, as does my VR2334. The latter one was such a beast to open and reassemble that I'm reluctant to do that though. The top cover just kept interfering with the tape lift cover, incredibly annoying!
The Grundig front loaders have their own quirks (my pet peeve is that they're gaping open when there's no tape inside) but they do have their advantages over the Philips machines. OTOH replacing head drums is supposed to be child's play in a Philips and requires all sorts of adjustments in a Grundig. ... | |||

Das entsprechende Ersatzteil habe ich schon gesichtet. Ist der Austausch sehr auwändig? Habe gesehen das hinter dem Akkudeckel einige Torx-Schrauben zu lösen sind. Messgeräte : Multimeter ______________________ Dies ist mein erster Breitrag hier, deshalb erstmal: Hallo an alle! Ich habe ein schon etwas älteres Sony Ericsson C702 Handy. Bei diesem waren einige Tasten defekt (u.A. "5" und "OK/Menü", aber auf "löschen"). Ich habe es deshalb geöffnet und nach einer Anleitung soweit zerlegt, bis man die Tastaturplatine erreichen konnte. Diese ist folgendermaßen aufgebaut: - Runde Scheiben-Kupfer-Kontakte, ca 2mm Durchmesser - Darum herum runde Ring-Kupfer-Kontakte, ca. 1mm Abstand zu der mittleren Scheibe, ca. 1mm Dicke - Auf die Platine ist eine weiße Folie geklebt, auf der sich silbrig-farbene nach oben gewölbte Teller-Kontakte befinden, die bei Druck den Kontakt zwischen innerer Scheibe und äußerem Ring schließen. Im geschlossenen Zustand wird durch Gummiknöpfe auf die Folie auf der Platine gedrückt, was die Teller auf die Platine drückt un die Kontakte schließt. Die Kontakte sahen verdreckt/korrodiert aus (leicht bräunlich), weshalb ich versucht habe, sie zu reinigen. Einige ... | |||

Now to your "new" 2x8 2280a: All voltages from the power supply seem ok, perhaps a little bit too low. VD = in german "Volt Dauerspannung" = permanent voltage VE = in german "Volt Eingang" = input voltage VW = in german "Volt Wiedergabe" = voltage in play mode VA = in german "Volt Aufnahme" = voltage in record mode VF = in german "Volt Funktion" = operation voltage. The 12 VD-voltage should be 12,5 V +/- 0,05 V, measured in play mode. You can allign this with the trim potentiometer on the top side of the power module (inserted in the machine!). If you look from the front of the VCR on the power module, there is a metal cover above it, and on the right side in front there is a trim potentiometer. Turn it so wide, so that the 12 V | |||
