i wasn't online today, because I wanted to repair an old radio from 1953, now running nearly like in 1953 - but with other music than 61 years ago...  I have thought, that now Konrad Adenauer will speak out from this EMUD Favorit GW.... 
Yes, V-2000 has another tracking system than VHS, Beta and so on. V-2000 has a permanent, dynamic tracking system. With the recording, different track-sensing-signals get recorded on the tape, in play-mode, these signals get read and analyzed in a microprocessor (DTF-Servo-Module). The tracking permanently gets controlled, so that even in fast picture search forward and reverse, there are no stripes in the picture! The best is, to check all of the voltages from the power supply. Many faults in V-2000 result in dry caps in the power supply, so that one or more voltages are too low. Here, in this thread, I have uploaded the service manual for the power supply. In this manual all the voltages are marked, so you can easy control them. Best regards, stego

1. Which restistors do you mean? Do you have a service manual? In the sm, all allign points (for service) are described, and those having no description MUST NOT get disadjusted! They are adjusted in GRUNDIG factory after production and can not get alligned by "normal" technicans. 2. It looks like a) the video heads are worn, so the DTF signals (recorded with the video signal) are read faulty. V-2000 works without a "normal" sync track, like VHS or Betamax. V-2000 has 5 different frequences recorded on the helical scan tracks. In play mode, these five signals get to the DTF-control, then the DTF module serves the DTF voltages to the piezo elements, on which the video heads are mounted. This is, why V-2000 can offer perfect clear picture search FF and REW. It is a really difficult "dynamic track following" system, and some troubles have not been removed entirely until the end of the system V-2000. Now, after more than 25 years, the tapes have get older as well as the machines. It is nearly impossible today, to play a V-2000 tape in the same perfect quality as it was recorded. now that´s a success! This black "tongue" (of plastic material) is a part of the head drum speed indicator. Every turn of the head drum, the optical sensor indicates a short interrupt, and this signal is delivered to the servo control PCB. With this 25 Hz-signal, the servo circuit is regulating the head drum speed of 1.500 rpm. The upper part of the optical sensor can get alligned: Loose the screw only an quarter turn, and then you can allign the light sensor according to the service manual. If the groundig spring is not centered, it can happen, that the plastic tongue touches the optical sensor and breaks. Then, something like on your machines happens: After starting PLAY, the machine aborts after one second, because the servo circuit gets no signal from the head drum speed indicator! The processor gets a "no head rotation" signal and stops the tape drive with a blinking "F". In this situation the head drum spins up to much more than the correct 1.500 rpm. This may perhaps cause the "drilling" sound... For a first check, you can use a piece of paperboard and glue it with a reversable glue (for example a hot glue). Bis auf den Programmierteil (c) hab ich alles durchgearbeitet. Ich hoffe ihr könnt mit dort helfen. Die Aufgabe:Abfragen eines Sensors über I^2C Bus Die TWI-Schnittstelle des ATmega erlaubt den Zugriff auf I2C-Bus-Geräte. Deswegen gelten im folgenden Text TWI und I2C als gleichbedeutend. a) Machen Sie sich mit dem prinzipiellen Ablauf einer I2C-Kommunikation vertraut (z.B. ATmega Dokumentation). b) Laden Sie von der ITI-Page das Template-Paket zu dieser Aufgabe herunter. Ich schwanke zwischen vorgenanntem Modell, dem JVC KD-LH 3101, ohne Garantie, gebraucht für 120€ und Einem Alpine CDE 9827 R, mit knapp 1 Jahr Restgarantie für VB 140€. Die genauen Performancedaten weiter unten. Für das JVC spricht der EQ und die vielen Spielmöglichkeiten (man ist ja dann doch ganz Kind) sowie die geilere Optik für das Alpine die Garantie Leider kann ich den Klang nicht direkt vergleichen, aber man hört, JVC sollen "höhenbetonter" Klingen. Also nicht gerade was ich brauche.. MEINUNGEN WILKOMMEN Beschreibung zu JVC KD-LH 3101: Der KD-LH 3101, ein CD-Receiver mit CD-Wechslersteuerung, PICT (Personalised Image Capture Technology), Anwendungs-CD (Bildbearbeitungssoftware), beleuchtete Dekorplatte, farbvariables 3D-Grafik-Display mit Kontrastregler, DAB Basic Control II, abklappbares Bedienteil, Multifunktions-Drehknopf und Fernbedienung im Scheckkartenformat. entschuldige, dass ich jetzt erst antworte. Fehler gefunden und beseitigt :-)))) Es war nicht das Netzteil, das ich eine ganze Zeit auch im Verdachte hatte, -zumal die Elkos im Netzteil im Sekundärteil alle mit grünem Filzstift markiert waren (also wahrscheinlich schonmal getauscht). Allerdings fing das Gerät an auf warm/kalt in der Nähe des Netzteils zu reagieren und ich habe eine Weile an der Platine unter dem Netzteil herumexperimentiert ('Power Control Unit'). Nach einigem weiteren föhnen und abkühlen stiess ich durch Zufall auf den Teil der 'Servo Controll Unit', der in der Nähe des Netzteils lag und auch im Wirkunkskreis des Föhns gelegen hatte und dort schliesslich auf einen Elko der etwas weiter als die anderen herausstach und: ganz interessant 47 µF 10V anstatt wie alle anderen Elkos drumherum in der 16 V Variante... Offensichtlich wurde der auch getauscht und leider war aber die 16V Variante wohl nicht zur Hand... Kurz und gut: Elko getauscht und das Gerät lief sofort wieder. Solch einen murksigen Fehler hatte ich lange nicht; -aber man lernt und staunt ja nie aus... Trotzdem danke für Deinen Tip, M.... | |||

@nukeman I weiß nur ich glaub nicht das das die C-Control da mitspielt (geschwindigkeit naja mehr brauch ich nicht sagen oda?...  )
ich hatte nur noch son' teil über und habs in einen überdimensionalen Servo verbaut(1x motor 1xpoti 1x Analoger 0-5V Eingang) mit dem kommt das Ding gerade noch zurecht...
