Hi!
I've posted here before about newer software version for my TV (if someone has the latest software for this on file (see older post on this forum)).
This time the post is (sadly) about that the TV has become defect :-(
I watched TV normally yesterday. Suddenly I heard a little and quick noise from inside the TV (about 1 second). Then over about 10 seconds the picture became blurred (out of focus) and now it has stabilized and doesn't become more blurred than it already is.
All functionality of the TV is intact and works except the blurred picture (text, PIP, RGB-in, sound, menues etc.).
Somebody know what the defect can be? All help/suggestions are deeply appreciated! Many thanks in advance and sorry for the spoken language but my german is so bad. :-)

Hi,
the reason for blurred picture is an defect on the Dyn. Focusing Board. Change the Capacitors on Position C 64001 and C64002 (1,5nF 6kV ).

The firmware is in IC87030 (EPROM). Some years ago I got a new version in exchange to the old eprom from the local Grundig service to fix problems with hightext (videotext level 2.5). 19798-311.50 is printed on a label on top of the chip. I have no equipment to read data from it - except my tv.
