Please help me!
I have no schematic and the problem is the following: when switched ON, LED is green,no static sound,no heating. As I know FBT is very common failrue in this monitor. I took out the FBT and checked it with a digital multimeter which read 3.22 Kohm between HV cable and pin 14. I think pin 14 though it isn't marked on the board. It connected to R733, SG702 etc. It proves that FBT is bad. But there is a box between the HV cable and the CRT Anod: MSC71-52B. ASWO lists it as a CR block. What is the function of this block? Dmm reads short circuit between its IN and OUT. Is it normal? I would like to know whether it is good or not before buying the new FBT because the FBT and this box together are rather expensive. And what other parts may be bad? Who can help me? Thank you in advance.
